The Rosary Confraternity is the oldest prayer community. Its roots go back to St. Dominic Guzman (born about 1170 A.D.). It was spread by Blessed Alan de la Roche and later Jacob Sprenger, the prior of the Cologne Convent. The Rosary Confraternity communities were founded afterward in Wrocław 1481, Kraków 1484, Gdańsk 1499, in the Warsaw Convent of St. Jack 1604, Poznań 1630 |

Members of the Rosary Confraternity pray for one another and by prayer help the Order of Preachers in their apostolic work. For this reason, the Brothers and Sisters of the Holy Rosary participate in all spiritual goods of the Order of Preachers and all Rosary fraternities in the world. Moreover, they may obtain plenary indulgence under ordinary conditions: |
